Game Engines are basically the first thing you would like to start with, choosing the right engine for your game is as simple, just go through the list below and choose the best one that fits with your game.

The Unreal Engine

The Unreal Engine is a Free powerful tool that will help you get started with creating your game without the need to code.

CONSTRUCT3

Construct is an HTML5-based 2D game editor, developed by Scirra Ltd. It is aimed primarily at non-programmers, allowing quick creation of games in a drag-and-drop fashion using a visual editor and a behavior-based logic system.

GDEVELOP

GDevelop is an open-source, cross-platform game engine designed for everyone – it’s extensible, fast and easy to learn.

GODOT GAME ENGINE

Godot is a free and open-source game engine released under the MIT license. It was initially developed for several companies in Latin America before its public release. The development environment runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It can create games for PCs, mobile devices and the Web platform.

Lumberyard

Amazon Lumberyard is a free cross-platform game engine developed by Amazon and based on CryEngine, which was licensed from Crytek in 2015. The engine features integration with Amazon Web Services to allow developers to build or host their games on Amazon’s servers, as well as support for livestreaming via Twitch.

COCOS2D

Cocos2d is an open source software framework. It can be used to build games, apps and other cross platform GUI based interactive programs. Cocos2d contains many branches with the best known being Cocos2d-objc, Cocos2d-x, Cocos2d-html5 and Cocos2d-XNA.

UNITY GAME ENGINE

Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies, first announced and released in June 2005 at Apple Inc.’s Worldwide Developers Conference as a Mac OS X-exclusive game engine. As of 2018, the engine had been extended to support more than 25 platforms.

CORONA GAME ENGINE

Corona is a software development kit developed by Corona Labs Inc. in mid 2009, which allows software programmers to build 2D mobile applications for iOS, Android, and Kindle, desktop applications for Windows and OS X, and connected TV applications for Apple TV, Fire TV and Android TV.
